It’s 4.30 am, and I’m at Dusseldorf Airport, Germany. I should be on my way to Canada for mixing. The lady at the check-in checks my passport and booking confirmation, then informs me „I’m sorry, you’re not in the system“. Oh joy. Of course, the airline’s offices open at 9 am, and the flight would have been at 7 am. Grrrr. Back to Cologne, book a new flight, reschedule recording sessions, write an appropriate email to the airline.
It turned out to be the airline’s fault – they sent a booking confirmation and everything else, but didn’t issue a ticket number.
