23 Dec Stormy Monday, Episode 2: Timelapse Germany
Both states of Kansas and Oklahoma are part of an area referred to as “Tornado Alley”. It’s called that because of the sheer number of tornados there every year. America’s Tornado Alley is known worldwide as the ‘Holy Grail’ for storm chasers. I usually consider Germany’s terrain with its many trees and hills to be quite unchaseable. But sometimes we can also have a stroke of good luck close to our very own doorstep right here in Germany. That was the case for me on July 20, 2019, when I shot this timelapse near Dorsten, North-Rhine Westphalia, Germany.
The music is from my CD, “The Hockey Project (one)”, which is available at our shop!
