This one was served on a silver platter, on June 25, 2019, Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada. I just returned from shooting other stuff, and then the sky turned red . So I set up my tripod in the back of my truck in a parking lot (note: a truck is a concept that is completely useless to upright bass players, as the bass will not fit in ANYWHERE, but I just love driving them. I was delighted as a kid on Christmas morning when the guy at the car rental informed me that they were out of cars, and all that’s left is trucks…). The show was over within half an hour. There’s no music to go with this pic, but hey, the lightning is gorgeous!
